Jacob Werner, CFP®
Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor

With strong experience to back him, Jake is well-versed in the wealth management issues facing his clients. He joined D.A. Davidson & Co. in 2007 after previous work with another firm. Since then, he has earned the Certified Financial Planner™ certification, adding to his ability to offer holistic financial planning and wealth management strategies that are specific to each client.

Born and raised in Oregon, Jake attended the University of Oregon, earning a bachelor’s degree in both political science and sociology before moving to Montana. He is a former Board President for both the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County board of directors and Congregation Beth Shalom in Bozeman. Jake and his wife, Kama, have two active daughters, Quinn and Lauren.



Paula Stocker, CWS®
Associate Financial Advisor

Paula believes the best wealth management advice is tailored to each client’s unique objectives and circumstance. Using a personalized approach, she works alongside investors to help each one develop a strategy that is realistic and reachable. Paula has been with D.A. Davidson & Co. since 2000, first working in a supportive role before becoming an Associate Financial Advisor as a reflection of her increasing expertise and desire to work more closely with clients. She has earned the Certified Wealth Strategist™ designation to sharpen her skills for working alongside investors with complex financial issues.

Paula earned a bachelor’s degree in history, with an emphasis in European studies and French, from Montana State University. A Tae Kwon-Do instructor since 2002, she also is a past board member for THRIVE and a mentor for the Child Advancement Project. Paula and her husband, Brad, are the proud parents of a daughter, Pharis.



Miranda Van Dyck
Client Associate

Miranda has been with D.A. Davidson since September 2018 and provides support for Werner Wealth Management. She enjoys forming relationships with clients and colleagues and involving herself in the various volunteer projects D.A. Davidson has to offer. Prior to joining the firm, Miranda was an events coordinator at Riverside Country Club, and in previous years, spent her summers working in the ghost town of Virginia City, MT, where she began building her 12 years of experience in customer service. Originally from the small town of Sheridan, MT, Miranda moved to Bozeman in 2015. Outside of work, she enjoys fly fishing, camping, disc golfing, cooking, traveling and watching movies.
